TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. GENERAL PROVISIONS
Visiting or purchasing by any means (online order, telephone order, email, etc.) products on the www.sky.ro website automatically implies acceptance of the terms and conditions below.
This website is maintained and administered by SKY.RO, hereinafter referred to as the Supplier. The natural or legal person who orders and purchases products through the www.sky.ro website shall be referred to as the Customer.
2. CONTENT OF THE SITE
SKY.RO defines content as all the information contained on the site in the form of text, data, images (pictures). SKY.RO reserves the right to update or modify the content of this site without prior notice. The entire content of the www.sky.ro website is the property of the Provider and is protected by the copyright laws in force. The use of any elements of the content without the consent of the Provider is punishable under the laws in force (administrative, civil or criminal). Elements of the content of this site may only be used or copied with the written consent of the Provider. If you notice a copyright infringement by www.sky.ro please send us a notification to the email address: contact@sky.ro
3. DISCLAIMER
The photos, description, features and accessories of the products presented on www.sky.ro are for information purposes only, therefore the products delivered may differ in any way without prior notice. SKY.RO makes every effort to ensure that the products delivered comply as far as possible with the descriptions presented on the site. However, if the content of the product or some product characteristics have been wrongly displayed and the delivery has not yet been carried out, the Supplier reserves the right to cancel the delivery of the respective product and to notify the customer as soon as possible about the error. The maximum amount of the Supplier's obligations to any customer in the event of non-delivery or improper delivery shall be equal to the value of the products received by the Supplier from the customer. The Supplier cannot be held liable for any related expenses or any other damage caused to the customer due to non-delivery or improper delivery of the product.
SKY.RO shall not be liable for the purpose for which the purchased products are used. SKY.RO discourages the use of products outside the law and outside the rules of good conduct. The customer assumes full responsibility for the use of the products purchased from SKY.RO. The products sold on this site are generally recommended to persons and authorities who, by virtue of their competence, are entitled to use surveillance and monitoring equipment. If the products are purchased by persons without monitoring and surveillance powers, they shall be responsible for the use of the products.
4. CONFIDENTIALITY OF PERSONAL DATA
In accordance with the requirements of Law no. 677/2001 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and the free movement of such data, as amended and supplemented, and Law no. 506/2004 on the processing of personal data and the protection of privacy in the electronic communications sector, SKY.RO is obliged to manage safely and only for the specified purposes the personal data provided about you, a member of your family or another person.
The purpose of the collection of personal data is the fulfilment of orders (issue of invoice, guarantee certificate and dispatch of products), advertising-marketing-advertising (newsletters) and the production of statistics necessary for the development of the services offered.
The information collected by SKY.RO for the purpose of fulfilling orders may be partially provided to courier companies for the dispatch and delivery of parcels.
Information collected by SKY.RO for the purpose of advertising-marketing-advertising (newslatter) will not be provided/sold or rented to third parties.
SKY.RO collects from its customers personal data such as name, surname, e-mail, telephone number, address, etc. only if they are voluntarily provided by the customer. Refusal to provide such data will make it impossible to process and complete orders submitted by SKY.RO.
According to Law no. 677/2001, the client has the right of access, intervention on data, the right not to be subject to an individual decision and the right to appeal to the courts. At the same time, you have the right to object to the processing of personal data concerning you and to request their deletion. To exercise these rights, you can address a written request, dated and signed to our company's headquarters, str. Memorandumului, nr.23, Cluj-Napoca, Cluj or by e-mail at contact@sky.ro.
SKY.RO and www.sky.ro and does not encourage SPAM, does not provide your contact details to third parties (individuals or companies), does not sell, does not offer, does not exchange e-mail addresses obtained through this site, does not disclose your e-mail address to other people who access the pages of this site, without your explicit consent.
SKY.RO does not assume responsibility for loss of information due to errors or possible security problems of the server hosting our website, or actions of third parties.
5. GUARANTEE AND CONFORMITY
Legal/commercial guarantee according to L449/2003 modified. OG 9/2016 of the products purchased is 6, 12, 24, 36 or even 120 months, depending on the product purchased. Consumables (batteries) benefit from a 6-month warranty. All products purchased on our website will be accompanied by a warranty certificate. If you did not receive the warranty certificate in your parcel, please request it within 48 hours. The warranty period starts from the date of invoice. The buyer is guaranteed that in the event of a defect under normal conditions of use, during the warranty period, the product will be repaired free of charge or replaced, as the case may be, at our premises. The conditions of the guarantee and the procedure in the event of a product defect are detailed in the Guarantee Certificate. In case of non-repair of the product, as well as the impossibility of its replacement by the Supplier, the Customer may request a refund or purchase other products from the shop. The maximum amount of the Supplier's obligations in case of non-repair or non-replacement of the product is the amount of the amount received by the Supplier from that Customer for that product.
All products purchased from our shop are new and are delivered together with a warranty certificate, quality certificate as well as instructions for use and technical documentation. SKY.RO guarantees the authenticity and originality of the products sold in the shop www.sky.ro and does not encourage the sale of counterfeit products.
Products that have been activated cannot be returned!
The customer is obliged to pick up the product within 15 days from the date on which he was notified that the product has been repaired or not. If the product is not picked up after notification for a period exceeding 15 days, a storage fee of 5 lei/day will be charged. In case the product has not been picked up within 180 days from the notification, the customer agrees to give up the right of ownership on it, the equipment remaining the property of SKY.RO, and will be scrapped.
If the product is not covered by the warranty, the customer will pay the return shipping costs.
6. PRICES, TAXES, PAYMENTS
The final price paid by the customer when picking up the parcel consists of the price of the product displayed on the website + delivery and transport costs.
Payment can be made directly to the courier company (on collection of the parcel) or in advance by payment order on the basis of a pro forma invoice.
Promotions and special offers. All promotions and special offers presented on the site are valid only while stocks last.
PAYMENT BY CARD
If you have chosen the payment method "Online by bank card" you need to fill in a form with your card information on the secure payment processor page.
- Payments with credit/debit cards issued under the Visa and MasterCard logo (Visa/Visa Electron and MasterCard/Maestro)
are made via the "3-D Secure" system developed by organisations that provide the same level of security for online transactions as those made at an ATM or in a physical environment at the merchant.
- "3-D Secure" primarily ensures that no information related to your card is transferred or stored,
at any time, on the store's servers or the payment processor's servers, this data is directly entered into Visa and MasterCard systems.

7. TECHNICAL SUPPORT AND PROFESSIONAL ADVICE
With more than 6 years of experience, the www.sky.ro shop offers its customers technical support and expert advice within the limits of available resources. Technical support is provided by telephone or email by our sales consultants or, where appropriate, by the technical department. The technical support offered by our company consists in helping and assisting customers to identify technically the required products, to check the compatibility of products with other products, to find technical solutions according to the requirements and needs of customers, to configure complex security systems for purchase.
Because it is almost impossible by phone or email, NO TECHNICAL SUPPORT IS OFFERED for the installation, configuration and programming of security systems (anti-burglary, video surveillance, fire prevention, access control, intercom and video intercom, etc.). For such services we recommend that you use specialized companies approved by the Romanian Police to carry out security systems installation activities.
8. DELIVERY OF PRODUCTS
The products purchased on the www.sky.ro website will be delivered only on the Romanian territory by express courier service.
Delivery time is 48 hours, unless otherwise specified, calculated from the date of receipt of your order. This deadline is indicative and may change for reasons beyond our control. If the products ordered are delivered to you in several instalments, you will only pay the delivery costs for the first parcel. If one or more of the products ordered are no longer in stock, you will be notified. Products are delivered subject to stock availability. In the case of products that are not in stock or for large orders, the delivery time may be up to 3 weeks longer. Payment can be made by cash on delivery (when the parcel is collected) directly to the courier company, or in advance by payment order on the basis of a pro forma invoice.
Delivery and transport costs are borne by the Customer up to a maximum of 300 ron. Above this limit, any transport charge is provided by our company.
9. RETURN OF PRODUCTS / CANCELLATION OF PURCHASE
According to the legislation in force, the cancellation of the purchase is only applicable to individual customers.
Legal entities have no right of return regardless of the method of purchase of the product, i.e. by online order, delivery or collection from the store.
According to the OG no. O.U.G. 34/2014 on the legal regime of distance contracts, which approves the ordinance, "The consumer has the right to notify the trader in writing that he renounces the purchase, without penalty and without giving a reason, within 14 calendar days of receiving the product. The only costs that may be borne by the consumer are the direct costs of returning the products". The product must be returned within 14 days of notification of the withdrawal.
The returned product must be an unused product with no signs of wear and tear and intact packaging. The return costs will be borne by the customer and the product will be refunded within 14 days of return.
If the product is returned in a condition in which it can no longer be sold as new, we reserve the right to charge a restocking fee (if possible) or to cover the difference in price resulting from the sale of the product as second-hand or, at the customer's option, we will resend the product at the customer's expense.
We do not accept for return products that were purchased on special order or that at the time were not part of the company's offer!
We do not accept for return products that were purchased on special order with advance payment!
Products that have been activated and are no longer new are not accepted for return.
In the case of products on special order with advance payment, the advance payment is not refundable if the customer cancels the order.
We do not accept for return products in the category Espionage and Anti-Spionage!
Electronic software licenses, electronic insurance codes (which require the delivery of an activation key by email) cannot be returned after receipt. An exception is made for those in physical format, if they have not been unsealed.
Products purchased in store do not benefit from the right of return according to GEO 34/2014.
Insurance codes are classed as digital licences and once purchased, they cannot be returned.
The return of the money or, where applicable, the replacement of the products without penalty and without giving a reason, can be made under the following conditions:
- if the products have a seal, it may not be opened - the product must be returned sealed;
- the condition of the appliances and products purchased must be the same as when they were purchased / received.
The return of money for orders returned by courier will be made by bank transfer. Products returned by courier will not be sent with RAMBURS.

10. ATTEMPTED FRAUD
Any attempt to gain unauthorized access to the databases, personal data, server or content of the www.sky.ro website will be reported to the competent authorities and will be subject to a criminal complaint to them.
11. LITIGATION
Any dispute arising between the Customers and the Supplier shall be settled amicably. For free internal conciliation, call 0762.331.330, anytime during working hours Monday to Friday between 10:00 and 18:00. If the conflict cannot be resolved amicably, the Romanian Courts of Justice in Cluj-Napoca will have jurisdiction.
By visiting and purchasing products by any means (online order, telephone, email, etc.), the Customer confirms that he/she has read and accepted the above terms and conditions. The use of the website by the Customer for information purposes also implies unconditional acceptance of these terms and conditions.
